COOKING TO PERFECTION
To help you cook your Stockton & Stratton meat to perfection, we’ve set out some handy guidelines below –

1)    You can fry, grill or oven cook sausages. Whichever way you cook them, you need to turn them to get an even cook – our sausages are thick and meaty, and they need turning. We think grilling and oven cooking give the best results, but it’s up to you.
2)    Frying – only add just a small amount of oil. In fact, you can avoid adding oil all together if you put the sausages in a cold pan and warm it gradually.
3)    Grilling – don’t have the heat too high. Grilling is a really powerful way of cooking, and if you have the heat too high, you’ll just burn the outside of the sausage.
4)    Oven cooking – not many people try this, but it gives a really tasty result. Simply preheat the oven to 180 – 190oC / 350  - 375oF / Gas Mark 4 – 5,  put the sausages on a metal tray and pop them into the oven. Turn once after 20 minutes, then cook them for another 20 minutes. You’ll find you get really good flavour development this way.
