All our pork comes from Gloucester Old Spot pigs - one of the great traditional breeds of England. They have a lovely life, wallowing around outside in muddy paddocks (well, they are pigs, after all).
Gloucester Old Spots were traditonally run in orchards in cider country - the story goes that the the large black spots on their backs are bruises caused by falling apples!
